Having searched the internet I was surprised to discover that over 3,700,000 results came back with my name. Oh well there goes the idea that I was unique. Lots of the results brought up Facebook profiles, LinkedIn, even Myspace - none of them is me as I have no profiles with these sites.

However I share namesakes with a planning lawyer, artistic director, an actress (hadn't heard of her until now, based in the West Midlands), a nanny (must have a patience of a saint) and a web designer and I am sure many others - dotted around all over the world.
Hello Geordieblog, I had the same issue with my name! Surely a lot of people do. At the moment I don't really see the importance of being immediately 'findable' online...but maybe that is because I am a lowly beginner to the profession!
